This project was developed over the course of 6 months at Bairro da Pasteleira (a well known neighborhood in the area of Porto).It was made with a harmonious effort from the population of the neighborhood and the team of Teatro do Frio. All of this culminated in a public performance, mixing various media such as video, theater, and body movement. King Kong is a project that gets inspiration from architecture, vacant land, the rhythms of place and the amazing relation between human, myth and landscape. It's from that relation that King Kong emerges as an interdisciplinary creation, with a strong component of artistic installation which dialogs with phenomena from the territory, visual anthropology and sonority.
